Sugar Plums - The Unique Child Development Center

Sugar Plums is the unique Child Development Center. The next best thing to being at home is being at Sugar Plums. We care for infants and children from ages two months through five years. Our surroundings are bright, clean, cheerful and safe, and are designed to scale so that children feel right at home.

Sugar Plums gives parents the opportunity to be closely involved in their child's development. Because we are located near your home or workplace, parents are encouraged to visit "Sugar Plums" anytime during the day.

Our program is designed for your child to have fun and to meet the intellectual, social, emotional and physical needs of your child at each stage of his or her development.

The staff of Sugar Plums is highly educated and experienced in the field of early childhood development. They also have excellent nurturing abilities. Each child will receive the maximum individual attention that he or she needs because of our low child-teacher ratio.

Our staff is committed to helping your child develop into a positive, well rounded and self-confident individual. It's a big job and we at Sugar Plums, are privileged to have a part in providing your child a good beginning that lasts a lifetime.

CURRICULUM

Our learning through play program is key to our curriculum. Daily free play encourages children to enjoy and interact with each other. Supervised play experiences include the use of toys, both manipulative and imaginative, as well as toys for gross/fine motor development. In addition, we have a creative arts corner; language and development center and areas for enjoying music, books, science and math.

Our daily schedules provide a balance of activities that are creative and flexible to meet the developmental levels of the children in each group.
