Trick Or Treat

Halloween does not need to be about excess candy and junk food. Set your rules before your children go out. Let them know they can eat one piece of candy a day. OR have your children count their favorite ten pieces and suggest to bring the rest of the candy to the fire department or another local organization. When you decide what to give out this year, think out of the box. Crayons, bubbles, stickers are always a fun treat to receive. Your local dollar store has plenty of great items to put in the children's bags. Plus the kids will keep the items longer than the candy lasts.
